 Luba GRIGOROVITCH (Kororoit – Minister for Youth, Minister for Carers and Volunteers) (10:22): Today I want to give a shout-out to some of the incredible people in our community in Kororoit. David from No9 The Cafe donated to the Western Emergency Relief Network $1 from every coffee that was sold, which was absolutely unbelievable. He was aiming to raise $250 for this incredible network but well exceeded that. Well done to David and the whole team at No9.

I also want to recognise Chris and his entire team at the Deer Park Compounding Pharmacy. Chris is an absolute local legend and a gift to our community. He never turns anybody away. Chris is also a proud provider of the Chemist Care Now services.

I would like to also thank the Burnside retirement community village. What an incredible retirement village this one is. It really is seeing seniors enjoy the best days that they have got ahead of them. I was lucky enough to have a cuppa and a chat there last week and also go along to their birthday celebrations – 24 years in the making.
